CASEY ENTER THE GUNGEON HOW TO
It would help fledgling players better understand how to use Casey. Just to chip in here, since I (- CHAOS FANTAZY ( talk) 02:59, (UTC)) was the one who recently edited Casey's page to discuss the community's polarized opinions on it: my intent in doing so was to use the community's polarized opinions of the weapon as a springboard to touch upon its strengths and weaknesses, which I think is worth discussing on the Wiki.

While I agree that community opinion isn't directly relevant to the game, the developers do seem to listen to feedback (of any volume) and community concepts can indirectly affect the game. Silphium ( talk) 01:34, (UTC) I did a search for "community" and apparently Rainbow mode is "inspired by the community". Good point about it setting bad precedent. It's not relevant and sets a bad precedent.

I agree I don't think it should be included. And if we were to allow it for this page, we would have to allow community opinions for all other pages. I personally do not think that it should because it is not relevant to the game, the community is not a part of the game.

Casey can reflect the Killithid's bullet portals. The Laser Sight does not appear when holding Casey. This does not apply to explosive barrels or Challenge Mode's "Explosive Pyre" modifier. Most explosive enemies killed with Casey will have their explosion delayed, preventing unavoidable damage.Casey can deflect the High Dragun's rocket attack, but the deflected rocket will not deal damage. These bullets also retain Casey's "launch upon death" property. If combined with Flak Bullets, Casey will shoot three high damage pellets, making Casey more functional as a long range weapon.Ghost Bullets are an exception to this, as reflected bullets do not pierce through enemies.Reflected bullets are affected by the player's bullet modifiers - Homing Bullets will give deflected bullets a chance to home in on enemies, Shock Rounds will cause deflected bullets to become electrified, and so on.Casey bullets spawned this way do not reflect enemy bullets, however. This projectile can be made visible with modifiers such as Cursed Bullets, and can even be spawned by certain items, such as Hip Holster or Orbital Bullets. Mechanically, Casey's charged swing fires an invisible short-ranged projectile.Casey's charged swing launches you forward a bit. This change seems to be affected by Scattershot causing the new sound effect to multiply. This also changes the sound effect of "readying" Casey. When an enemy is hit with Casey, they will become dark red and take damage over time.
CASEY ENTER THE GUNGEON FULL
Careful Iteration - With Armor of Thorns, Shotgun Full of Hate, Nail Gun, or Eyepatch, Casey fires a spread of 6 nails when swung, and takes on a spiked appearance.
